Quick start earns three points

The under-15s battled to a valuable victory, at Bishopston, thanks to Luke Thomas's early goal.  In a match which was switched to Murton Green, because Dukefield was unavailable, the Yellow and Greens comfortably continued their impressive start to the season and remain in the league's top-two

Only a minute had gone when Louis Gillett collected the ball in midfield and sliced the home defence apart with a great through ball.  Thomas anticpated the pas beautifully and rounded the advancing keeper before converting into an empty net.  Dunvant had most of the first-half possession and only a series of cynical fouls, by the Bishopston defence, prevented them from making further progress - the pattern continuing after the break.

The slender lead was well protected throughout by a resolute Dunvant back four assisted by the dynamic Coker and Kim partnership in the centre of midfield.

The victory will give the team further belief that they can continue to grind out results, against tough opposition, and remain genuine title contenders.
